KOKO Payment Integration Service in Sri Lanka | Website Development
We build websites and add KOKO buy now pay later to your online store. WooCommerce, Shopify and custom sites. Colombo, Kadawata, Gampaha, Kandy and Galle.

Many online shops in Sri Lanka lose sales at the last step. The customer likes the product. They add it to the cart. Then they see the full price and close the page.
The product was not the problem. The price on that day was.
KOKO fixes this. The customer pays with a debit or credit card and splits the cost into three payments. There is no interest. They pay one third now, and the rest is taken every 30 days. You still get paid for the sale.
We build websites, and we add KOKO to them.
Why shops add KOKO
The main reason is bigger orders.
A 45,000 rupee item feels heavy. Three payments of 15,000 feels fine. People who were only looking start buying.
This is why you see KOKO on so many phone shops, electronics stores, furniture sites and clothing brands here. Shops like Simplytek, Life Mobile, Nanotek Computers and Spa Ceylon use it. So do cafes like Barista and Cafe Kumbuk. One hotel chain even added it to their booking page, so guests can split the cost of a stay.
KOKO is not only for cards now. Customers can also pay from their bank account through LankaPay JustPay. That helps a lot, because many people here have a bank account but no credit card.
What the work involves
Many shop owners think this is a five minute plugin install. Sometimes it is. Often it is not.
You need to become a KOKO merchant first. KOKO checks your business before they give you any keys. You will need your business registration and bank details. We cannot do this part for you, but we will tell you what to prepare so it moves fast.
Show the price split early. The customer should see "3 x Rs. 15,000" on the product page, not only at checkout. This alone brings more sales than the checkout button does.
Order status must work. After payment, KOKO sends a message back to your website. If this is set up wrong, the customer pays but the order stays stuck as pending. This is the most common broken thing we are asked to fix.
Plan refunds before launch. A half paid order is not the same as a normal card refund. Decide how your team will handle it now, not during your first argument with a customer.
What we work with
WooCommerce. Our most common job. We set up the plugin, fix the checkout display, connect order status and test it with your shipping and tax rules.
Shopify. Setup, product page messages, and checking it does not clash with your other apps.
Custom websites. Direct API work for sites built in Laravel, Next.js, Node or Django. Most of our work is here, because custom checkouts rarely fit a ready made plugin.
Mobile apps. Flutter, Kotlin and Swift, when payment happens inside the app.
We also add PayHere, card payments and cash on delivery next to KOKO. Give people choices and fewer of them leave.
Time and cost
A normal WooCommerce or Shopify job takes two to four days with testing. Cost is usually between 25,000 and 60,000 rupees, depending on how custom your checkout already is.
A custom API job takes one to two weeks and starts around 90,000 rupees. More work is needed because the payment callback, order states and refunds all have to be built from zero.
KOKO sets the merchant commission, not us. Ask them for that number during signup so there are no surprises later.
Who we work with
We are a Sri Lankan web and mobile development company. We work with clients in Colombo, Dehiwala, Kadawata, Gampaha, Nittambuwa, Kandy, Galle and Matara. Most of this work is done remotely, so where you are does not matter much.
Need a new online store? We build it. Already have one and just want KOKO added? Send us your website address and tell us what platform you use. We will tell you if it is a small job or a big one before we quote.
FAQ
Does KOKO charge my customers interest?
No. The three payments are interest free, with no processing fees or hidden fees when the customer pays on time.
When do I get my money?
That depends on your agreement with KOKO. Ask about the settlement cycle when you sign up. It affects your cash flow more than the commission rate does.
Can I use KOKO and PayHere together?
Yes, and most shops should. They suit different customers. We usually set up both.
Will it work with my current theme?
Almost always. The only trouble is with heavily customised checkouts, where the button has to be placed by hand. We check this before quoting.
What about my physical shop?
In store, customers scan a QR code in the Koko app. That is set up separately from your website. Worth doing if you sell in person too.
